FAQ's
I’m new — where should I start?
You don’t need any prior experience. Our instructors and practitioners will guide you with clear instruction and supportive modifications. Whether you’re stepping onto the Reformer for the first time, trying Barre or Dance, or exploring Sound Immersion or Reiki, we create a safe, inclusive space for all levels.
How do I book?
You can book classes and courses easily through the booking system on the "BOOK" page on our website or via the Glofox App.
To get started with Glofox, simply download the app, search for Soma balance Studios, and create an account. Once you're set up, you'll have full access to our schedule and can manage your bookings with ease.
What should I wear or bring?
For movement classes, wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows ease of movement. Grip socks are necessary for classes practicing on the Reformer (available to purchase at the studio). For healing sessions, you may wish to bring a layer or blanket for comfort. Jewellery should be removed during Movement classes.
Can Soma support me if I have injuries, health concerns, or pregnancy?
We always recommend consulting your doctor before beginning a new programme. Our team can adapt classes and treatments to suit your needs.
How often should I attend?
This depends on your goals. Many members find benefit from 2–3 movement classes per week, combined with regular restorative or healing sessions to balance energy and wellbeing.
Do you offer private sessions?
Yes. We provide 1-to-1 and small-group sessions across Pilates, Barre, Dance, and Healing for a fully personalised experience.
What if I need to cancel?
We totally get that plans can change! Here’s how our cancellation policy works:
• Cancel 24+ hours before class: You’ll receive a full credit to use toward another class.
• Cancel within 24 hours of class: We’re unable to issue a credit for late cancellations.
Thank you for understanding—we appreciate your support.
I have more questions!
We’d love to hear from you. Please contact us directly or visit the studio for a consultation — we’ll guide you to the right classes and experiences for your journey.
